Scope and applicable law

me+u (menu-un.me) is operated from Switzerland and primarily follows Swiss data protection law (revDSG/FADP). If users access the service from other regions (including the EU/EEA or UK), additional local data protection rights may apply.

Data we process

Account data (email), profile data (username), letter content you submit, technical logs, and IP metadata.

Purpose

To provide login, deliver and store letters, secure the service, and operate core functionality.

Staff do not read letters or view cover photos unless tipped off, for example by a report, or if we must for security or legal reasons.

Processors

We use trusted processors to operate the service:

• Supabase (authentication, database, storage, logs) - provider: Supabase, Inc. and affiliated entities.
• Brevo (transactional email delivery, used for all emails to users) - provider: Brevo GmbH.
• Google (advertising conversion measurement when ads are running) - provider: Google LLC.

These providers process data only to provide the requested services and under contractual data-processing terms.

International data transfers

Our processors may process or store personal data outside Switzerland. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our providers, such as contractual and technical protections.

Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies for authentication and session security. There is no cookie banner and you are not asked to accept cookies. We also use privacy-friendly anonymous usage analytics and cookieless performance metrics (Web Vitals) to understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve reliability. When advertising campaigns are running, the Google tag may use cookies to measure ad clicks and whether someone reached the write page.
